Nearby fine York restaurants include Meltons, Middlethorpe Hall and others in the city centre. Walmgate offers a wide variety of interesting and informal York restaurants including Polish, Thai and Italian cafes. Good York pubs close by include the Lighthorseman, the Phoenix, the Fulford Arms and the Wellington Inn on Alma Terrace, with many more CAMRA-listed pubs in the city and out of town.
